Kit Crosby-Williams, MS, MFT, Board President, Therapist

Kit Crosby-Williams has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1986 and has worked extensively with abused and traumatized women. She has worked with a number of nonprofit agencies, from housing issues to family advocacy. Kit has always been an advocate and voice for social justice. She currently has a small private practice in Eureka where she offers sliding scale counseling services.
  Tish Unterkoefler, Vice President

Tish Unterkoefler has worked with non profit organizations for many years and has served on several Boards of Directors. She has been very involved in high profile fund raisers and charity events. She was the owner of a full service property management company for 25 years. During that time she was involved in many fund raisers and events for the professional non profit organizations for the property management industry. These organizations worked to provide sources and funds for low income and subsidized housing for those in need and provide housing that met the rental industry standards of fair housing. She has always been involved in her community non profit organizations assisting in their fund raising efforts and other needs. She is aligned with the issue of the human trafficking efforts which is directly associated with domestic violence. The focus is education and fund raising to enable non profits to help eradicate the problem. She is very dedicated to Emma Center and the services and support they provide to the community and battered women and looks forward to the expansion of services and support to our women.
Lesley Manson, PsyD, Board Secretary, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Lesley Manson frequently works in both the private sector and public sector, currently she provides consultative, individual, family, couples and group therapy treatment. Dr. Manson frequently works with private and public schools, physicians, and community agencies providing diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral and trauma related concerns. She has worked in a variety of settings including nursing homes, hospitals, schools, community agencies, and general medical settings providing diagnosis and treatment services. She currently practices at Humboldt Open Door Community Health Center in Arcata, California.
  Eileen Sacra Capaccio, CPA, Board Treasurer

Ms. Capaccio graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. She has been in public accounting since 1984 and has been a member of the AICPA and California Society of CPA's since 1986. Since the fall of 1998, she has taught a variety of courses at Humboldt State University, including Essentials of Financial and Management Accounting and Financial Statement Auditing. She owned her own accounting practice from 1990 to 2006 and provided a full line of accounting services, including auditing. She is now a principle in the accounting firm of Hunter, Hunter & Hunt, in Eureka, California.
Kristi Schatz-Dickie, MACP, MFTI

Kristi Schatz-Dickie received her B.A in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from Humboldt State University. She holds an M.A in Counseling Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Creative Expression from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (Integrative/Holistic Psychology). She has worked extensively with traumatized youth utilizing creative therapies for healing and growth. She has held positions in schools, outpatient and residential treatment centers, and has experience in infrastructure development in the non-profit sector. Kristi aspires to become proficient in a variety of healing methodologies in order to best meet the needs of her community. She is currently leading the Knitting Circle and Arts and Crafts group at The Emma Center.
  Aile Reneau

Aile Reneau is a dedicated volunteer and lecturer. She has worked within elementary, middle, and high schools serving and meeting the needs of mentally, emotionally, and physically challenged children. Aile takes pride in identifying each child's creativity and believes every child is a special gift. She serves as chair of our technology committee and works hard on our web design. Aile has dedicated years of volunteering as a guest lecturer in middle and high schools sharing her stories, educating about eating disorders, and encouraging friendship, support, healthy choices and behaviors. She also volunteers at multiple non-profits in Del Norte County. She is active within her community church and is welcoming the newest member of her family (baby boy Patrick)!
